Focus Group Autonomy, CercleS

Université Paris Cité, Paris (France) - 26 & 27 June 2025

The Focus Group Autonomy of CercleS (the European Confederation of Language Centres in Higher Education) is a group of professionals in language education, practictioners and researchers, having the aim to share teaching experiences and research findings, and to further develop approaches to language learner autonomy in various settings, both in classroom and out of classroom. In the last couple of years, the group has been reviewing existings models of language learner autonomy with the aim of updating existing defintions and approaches to this notion. The reflection on existing practices has also been done by completing a cartography.

With this conference, the Focus Group Autonomy would like to complete this state of the art / inventory and to encourage practictioners to engage in further fruiftul exchanges.
